Jollof Rice is a beloved West African dish known for its vibrant flavors and rich, red color, typically derived from tomatoes and peppers. By incorporating Maggi Soya Chunks, you can add a nutritious, protein-rich twist to this classic dish, making it even more satisfying and delicious.


●  4 cups of rice

●  Tomatoes 5 large

●  Tatashe 3 large

●  Rodo 3pieces

●  Tomato paste 2 tbsp

●  2 cooking spoons of veg. oil

●  1 large Onions

●  Ginger n garlic 1 tbsp

●  Soya chops 100 grams

●  Maggi chicken 3 cubes

●  1 signature jollof

●  Thyme half tsp

●  Curry half tsp

●  Bayleaf 3 leaves


  • Combine tomatoes, tatashe and scotch bonnet peppers in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pot and cook over medium heat until it thickens and most of the liquid evaporates.
  • In another pot, add some oil till it’s hot, add the chopped onions, ginger and garlic and stir-fry till translucent.
  • Add the thyme, curry, bayleaf, tomato paste and maggi seasoning, stir-fry then add the steamed pepper mix.
  • When they’ve properly fried, add maggi signature jollof and some water then allow to boil.
  • Once boiled, add the rice and cook for about 15 minutes, then add the soya chops and allow to cook together with the rice for an additional 10 minutes
