Golden Penny Couscous with Maggi Soya Chunks is a delightful, nutritious dish that brings together the fluffy texture of couscous and the protein-rich goodness of Maggi Soya Chunks. This recipe is perfect for those seeking a quick and healthy meal that’s both satisfying and easy to prepare.


●  Tomatoes 5 large

●  Tatashe 2 large

●  Rodo 3 pieces

●  Onions 1 bulb

●  Thyme half teaspoon

●  Curry half teaspoon

●  Ginger 1 teaspoon

●  Garlic 1 teaspoon

●  Veg oil 2 cooking spoons

●  Maggi star 2 cubes

●  Signature jollof 1 sachet

●  Bell peppers 1 cup (diced)

●  Soya chunks

●  Couscous

Direction - SAUCE

●  Heat oil in a pan, then sauté onions, ginger, and garlic until translucent. Add curry, thyme, and Maggi Star cubes, stir-fry briefly.

●  Add tomatoes, tatashe, and scotch bonnet peppers, and fry for about 10 minutes. Add the soya chunks and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

●  Finish by adding Maggi Signature Jollof and bell peppers.

Direction - COUSCOUS

●  Boil 2 cups of water for 2 cups of couscous.

●  Drizzle some oil into the boiling water.

●  Pour the couscous into the water and turn off the heat.

●  Cover the pot and let it sit for about 10mins and fluff the couscous with a fork or spoon.

Cooking time: 30 minutes
